Where are you originally from and how did you find YPI?
I grew up in a couple different suburbs on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. I moved to Providence to go to college and first heard about Youth Pride at the Rhode Island Pride Festival that June after my first year of college (someone pulled me on the float!). Soon after that, I realized that many people I knew and respected had volunteered or been involved with YPI in some way, so I knew it was something to check out.
What was/is your favorite and least favorite subject in school? (high school/ college)
High School Favorite: AB CALCULUS!! It's crazy; I'm not a "math person," but something about that Calc class really made me start thinking in a new way.
High School Least Favorite: CHEMISTRY
College Favorite: PHOTO or BOOKMAKING; it's a tough call
College Least Favorite: STATISTICS. blah. I'll be honest; I barely passed.
