Where are you originally from and how did you find YPI?
I am originally from Rockland, Maine (2 hours north of Portland, on the coast). I originally found Youth Pride while attending Pride Providence. I saw the organization’s float in the parade. A bunch of young people shouting, “Don’t grow up invisible!” was really moving, and I wanted to get involved.
What was/is you favorite and least favorite subject in school? (high school/college)
Right now I’m taking an excellent class called the use of Expressive Arts in therapy. My least favorite would be any math class, though I wish I were better at math.
What’s your favorite hobby?
Yoga/meditation. Irish Dancing. Writing short stories and poetry. Hugging trees. Watching the moon wax and wane.
