Programs

YPI is committed to building a strong and vocal community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth and their allies to ensure that they are heard and accepted as members and leaders in our community. Youth, ages 13-23, are encouraged to hang out in YPI’s Drop-In Center and participate in the wide range of activities and programming that we have to offer. Develop leadership skills, build positive relationships, mobilize change in your community or school, get support, or just come and hang out. Your YPI experience will be what you make of it. So check us out and take advantage of all that we have to offer!
If you are new to YPI and are nervous about coming for the first time give us a call and we can schedule a time to give you a tour and give you the opportunity to ask questions about our program. Its not required but can be helpful especially if you are super nervous or shy. Parents, guardians, caseworkers or other supportive people are welcome to attend these "orientation meetings" as well.
