| Youth Pride, Inc. (YPI) is the only non-profit organization in the state dedicated to meeting the social, emotional and educational needs of youth and young adults impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. For 15 years, we have helped youth between the ages of 13-23 become visible and accepted members of the community. At YPI, we assist students in ending harassment at school, support youth worried about coming out at home, and provide a safe haven where youth can be respected and counted. Whether you want to become politically active, participate in fun activities or community service projects, or just hang out in the Drop-In Center, YPI is here. |

Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit group with two chapters in Rhode Island. We know what it’s like to learn that you or someone in your family may be gay or lesbian. Maybe you feel you can’t tell anyone, maybe you’re afraid of the reactions you’ll get from your family.
