Support Services
YPI’s support services include:
- Individual and family counseling
- Advocacy
- Crisis intervention and
- Case management services
Academic tutoring and GED preparation support is provided by volunteer, certified educators. This provides opportunities for youth to focus on academic performance without fear of negative perception and consequences for identifying as LGBTQQ.
The Way Out, a weekly support group, provides an opportunity to share their experiences with other LGBTQQ youth. This peer-facilitated support group is every Thursday from 4-6 PM.
