The Lipsky/Whittaker Scholarship supports

Rhode Island youth who are involved in

activism within the LGBTQ community.

Scholarship recipients must be a RI high school graduate under the age of 24, and enrolled full-time in a post-secondary technical training program, two or four year college; and either:

Identify as LGBTQQ, or

Be raised in an LGBTQQ household, and

Have a substantial history of activism in support of the rights of LGBTQQ individuals and families.

Deadline for application submissions is May 25th, 2012.
