Monthly Newsletter Archive: The YPI Times
Youth Pride, Inc. publishes a monthly email newsletter, The YPI Times, that covers local and national LGBTQ news in addition to YPI updates.
Some editions feature a ‘Meet Me’ section that introduces readers to someone affiliated with YPI. Our newsletter, formerly calledThe Inside Scoop, also has a running ‘Monthly Spotlight’ column that highlights an individual, group, or organization positively impacting the LGBTQ+ community. Several articles from The Inside Scoop were featured in Options Magazine. Options also has a monthly Youth Perspective section that several of our youth have contributed to.
Current staff member, Volta Tran, authors our newsletter and is always looking for input from the community. She is always taking recommendations for Monthly Spotlight submissions and lesser known local news stories. If you know of anyone giving back to the community, doing something interesting for the community, or just deserves to be recognized, recommend them to volta@youthprideri.org.
